Kiley had a great year, some of the things she did, was took swimming lessons and she loved every min. of that. She is a great swimmer. Also Kiley was able to spend a lot of time helping her Dad, with the watercatchments and with the cattle. All summer She raised a pig and a goat for 4-H, that she put in the fair and won red and blue ribbions, also she was able to sell them. Kiley is in the 5th grade this year and is doing great. She loves to read and has read all of the Harry Potter, Fablehaven and is now reading the Candyshop War book. Kiley is taking hunters safety and is looking forward to her Birthday because if she draws with the deer hunt she will be the first in her school class to hunt.
Ashley had a good year she had a lot of fun in swimming and can swim like a fish. Ashley spent a lot of time with her Dad this summer, she helped with the fences and watercatchments and anything Mark was doing she was right there. Ashely raised a pig and a goat for 4-H and had them in the county fair. She did really well in the fair, her goat took 1st place and she was happy about that. She won red and blue ribbons. Ashley is looking forward to next year because she would like to raise a steer for 4-H and she has one that she is feeding already. Ashely is in the 4th grade and is having a good time in school. She loves the science projects that she has done. Ashely is taking hunter safety also and loves every thing that she is learning.

Shayla took swimming, and worked hard with her Dad finding hornytoads and playing in the water. Shayla raised a pig for 4-H this summer and loved it. She showed it in the county fair and was able to sale it. She recived a red and blue ribbion. She Loves her 3rd grade this year, and she is reading Little House on the Prairie and is thrilled to learn the way Mary and Laura used to live, and ask Grandpa Spencer about it. Shayla is excited that she is taking hunter safety this year and she says she is going to out shoot Kiley and Ashely when they have to shoot.
Charle loved swimming this summer. She had a fun summer and looked forward to school all summer. Charle raised a goat for the county fair and won pee-wee grand champion, and she was so happy. She also won a blue ribbon, and was able to sell her goat. Charle had a fun summer with working with her Dad and playing. Charle loves school and is learning to read.
Mark finally finished some of his projects that he set out to do this year and is happy some are done he is about out of time this year but as he says, there is always next year.
Charlene is doing good and is busy with the kids and helping Mark. She is doing a little subbing at the Elementary School and really enjoys that. Between that and running the kids to all there different activities it seems to keep her pretty busy.

I was glad to see your update. It's good to hear what you have been up to. Your girls are getting so big and it was really good to see you all when we were down. Take care and we will probably see you next fall sometime.
